Top Winter Fashion Necessities for Women Wardrobe
Looking to beat the cold without
sacrificing your sense of style? We know exactly what you require. This
season's staples are as cool as the weather, from chic skinny jeans and
statement coats to classic cashmere sweaters and turtleneck tops. The top ten
winter wardrobe essentials for a chic season are listed below.
You can completely wrap yourself in it, and the 100% cashmere quality almost guarantees it will last for decades and then some.
Coat Made of Wool
"There can never be too many
coats." That is my firm belief, and I intend to stick to it. You already
know I love a good camel coat in the winter, but that's only the beginning of
having the perfect winter coat for every occasion.
shawls/Scarves
Scarves used to be a much bigger thing a
few years ago, and while they still are, I believe more people are gravitating
toward one, really high-quality, versatile scarf to pair with winter outfits
rather than 100 different scarves in all shapes and materials. It's this White
+ Warren cashmere scarf from Shop bop for me. It comes in five neutral colors and is large enough to
go with almost any outfit.
Sweatshirts
I consider myself a sweater weather
expert. From the fisherman style and crewneck to the mock neck and all the
cardigans, you should have one of each in your closet to create the ultimate
winter wardrobe.
Sweater in Cashmere
A cashmere
crewneck sweater says "off-duty chic" like nothing else. This chic
layering piece is equally easy to dress up or down. This sweater looks great
with a collared shirt peeking out from underneath and pairs well with midi
skirts, jeans, printed trousers, and leather pants.
Winter Boots 4
In terms of winter boots, they’re
ridiculously cute, cozy, and long-lasting, and can be worn for both activity
and leisure. If you've been thinking about getting a pair, they're well worth
the money. They are required if you live in colder climates. If you don't but
still want high-rise boots, it's time to invest in a good pair of combat boots!
These shearling lace-up boots have the same idea and silhouette as these
shearling lace-up boots, but they're a lighter option for those who live in
warmer climates.
Leggings in Faux Leather
When it comes to
curating your winter wardrobe, these are an absolute must. If you haven't
already read my Spanx vs., Check out our Commando faux leather leggings review
to see which pair you prefer for yourself! They're such a great piece to have
in your fall wardrobe. The faux leather look elevates a comfortable classic,
and they pair well with booties, over-the-knee boots, and sneakers on cold
weather days.
Beanies
A pom-pom beanie is an absolute must-have for any winter wardrobe. Not only does it look great on almost anyone, but it also keeps your head warm, which is what I call style efficiency at its finest. I adore Express's cable knit beanie! I have it in black, but it also comes in a few other colors and is currently on sale.Puffer Coat
Everyone's winter
coat collection should include a great puffer jacket. Abercrombie released a
mini puffer this year, and I'm obsessed with the brown faux fur option (also
called camel brown by them). It's the ideal combination of a teddy coat and a
puffer, and it's oh-so warm! During the winter, I love wearing it with just
jeans and my favorite casual sneakers for a weekend errand-running look.
Knee-high / Over-the-Knee Boots
2020 was the year
of not doing anything fancy, but that doesn't mean you can't wear knee-high or
even over-the-knee boots. As much as these taller boots are fashionable, they
are also useful for getting dressed in the morning.
Winter is the time
to look fierce while remaining covered and warm!
Comfortable Loungewear
Where do I even
begin with this one?! You literally cannot go wrong with any type of cozy
loungewear in 2020, but I did have some favorites that stood out this fall and
winter.
Jeans That Aren't Ripped
While I love
ripped jeans just as much as the next girl, winter is not the time to show any
extra skin that doesn't need to be shown. These are some of my favorite
non-ripped, classic, and stylish jeans for the winter, and each pair looks
great with your favorite pair of booties or over-the-knee boots for a special
occasion!
Fedora
Although a hat may not be the first thing that comes to mind when considering winter essentials, wool or felt fedora is a great way to stay warm without sacrificing style, as this accessory can make any outfit look more put together.
Boots that cover the knees
Warm and stylish -
the ideal winter combination! Over-the-knee boots can be dressed down with
jeans and a jumper during the day or up with a skirt or mini dress at night.
Top with a Turtleneck
Investing in a
turtleneck top will keep your neck warm and snug all winter! This look goes
well with anything, whether it's paired with a sweater and sleeveless dress or
worn alone with jeans.
Jacket made of leather
A leather jacket
is essential for any winter wardrobe because it instantly adds edge and
coolness to any outfit. Toss it over your jeans and tee on the weekend or
blouse and pants for the evening; this jacket can take any winter outfit from
drab to fab!
Dress in Knitted Jumper
Wearing a knitted
jumper dress is the easiest way to show a little leg while remaining warm. Pair
it with tights or layer it with your favorite winter coat, which can be removed
once inside. Choose between a form-fitting and a relaxed version; you really
can't go wrong here, and a bonus is that this style goes well with most shoes.
