The Top Fashion Brands in The Universe
The Top Fashion Brands in The Universe
There's something we need to settle on
before we reveal the best fashion labels in the world in 2021. The top is a
relative term, and not just in the fashion industry. Depending on your
preferences, it's the best. Hot, in-demand, popular, high-end, opulent, etc., all
fall into the same category. Before, the market value of a company was used as
a proxy for how successful a fashion brand was.
A more accurate assessment of the best
fashion labels, however, requires more than just looking at how many items were
purchased. Here, I've merged two different "Top Fashion Brands"
lists:
Armani
Armani, short for the company Giorgio
Armani SpA, was established by the Italian designer Armani in 1975. The Italian
fashion brand creates haute couture, ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes,
watches, jewelry, accessories, eyewear, cosmetics, and home furnishings, all of
which are sold in retail stores.
Products are sold under the Giorgio Armani
Prive, Giorgio Armani, Armani Collision, Emporio Armani (including EA7),
Armani Jeans, Armani Junior, and Armani Exchange trademarks, among others.
Armani is currently one of the best designer
brands, which is why it made our list of the top fashion brands for 2021.
•The Armani brand has reaped the benefits
of the Armani name's renown in the fashion business by using it to transmit an
air of understated and enduring elegance.
Sales and client demand put the Armani
Beauty range ahead of other high-end brands in Asia and the Middle East.
Hermes
Founded in 1837 in France, Hermes
International SA, or simply Hermes, is a producer of high-end fashion and
accessories. French luxury brand Guerlain is known for its leather products,
home decor, fragrances, jewelry, watches, and ready-to-wear.
Since the 1950s, a logo depicting a Duc
carriage pulled by a horse has been used. The current art director is Nadege
Vanhee-Cybulski. The Apple Watch Hermes was released in 2015 as the result of a
collaboration between Hermes and Apple Inc. The watch combines the Apple Watch
with one of Hermes's hand-made bands (either a single tour, double tour, or
cuff).
When asked to name the single most recognizable
item produced by the French House, the Birkin bag always comes out on top.
Since its debut in 1984, the Birkin has
been produced in a wide range of colors and leathers.
The following are some of the reasons why
Hermès is considered one of the most prestigious and well-known luxury brands:
The Birkin bag has become a cultural icon
due to the high-profile women who have carried it, the bag's frequent
appearances in the media, and, of course, its high price tag. Hermes is the
manufacturer of some of the most recognizable handbags in the world, including
the Birkin, Kelly, and Constance.
Rolex
The Geneva, Switzerland-based Rolex SA
produces high-end timepieces. Established in 1905 in London, England under the
name Wilsdorf and Davis by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis, Rolex is not a
clothing label (yet).
As of the end of the month of June this
year, three of the 10 most expensive watches ever sold at auction were Rolex
timepieces. For instance, on October 26, 2017, in New York, Paul
Newman's Rolex Daytona sold for 17.75 million US dollars, making it the second
most expensive timepiece and the third most expensive watch ever sold at
auction.
Rolex is one of the most admired luxury
brands in the world because of these factors:
To put it simply, Rolex produces more
officially recognized chronometers than any other company in Switzerland.
•In 2005, Rolexes accounted for more than
half of the total annual production of watches tested and approved by Control
Official Suisse des Chronometers (COSC).
A record number of Rolex wristwatches have
been verified as having a chronometer mechanism.
Cartier
Although it is a completely owned
subsidiary of the Swiss Richemont Group, the company's headquarters remain in
Paris. You probably aren't Princess Grace, who was given a 12-carat (2.4 g)
emerald-cut diamond Cartier engagement ring, or Kate Middleton,
Duchess of Cambridge, who flaunts her Cartier Ballon Bleu watch.
But a Cartier timepiece or piece of jewelry is a
declaration of wealth and authority, known and respected all over the world.
Because of these factors, Cartier is currently among the most costly luxury
brands on the market:
In addition to its three Temples
(Historical Maisons) in London, New York, and Paris, Cartier has approximately
two hundred retail locations worldwide.
Cartier has a long history of selling jewelry to
royalty, earning the company a reputation as one of the most renowned jewelers in
the world.
•King Edward VII of the United Kingdom
referred to Cartier as "the goldsmith of kings and the king of jewelers."
Givenchy
Modern fashion trends have been set by
Givenchy, a Parisian luxury design house founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy
and Jaani Robert Duffy. Famous people like Beyonc, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian,
Emma Stone, Julia Roberts, Rooney Mara, and Meghan Markle all wear Givenchy.
The fashion, perfume, jewelry, and
cosmetics juggernaut is now wholly owned by the French luxury goods giant LVMH.
Notable among Givenchy's preferred labels for SS/SS20/21 are:
•In light of the release of Covid-19, the
brand's parent firm LVMH announced that its fragrance division will produce
hand sanitizer.
Burberry is a London-based British high
fashion house that was founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry. In 2020, Burberry
was estimated to have a total brand worth of over $6 billion, making it one of
the most valuable British fashion businesses.
Although the label's early focus was on
functional outdoor wear, it has expanded into high fashion couture in recent
seasons. Among the many products that have made Burberry renowned are its trench
coats, leather goods, footwear, fashion accessories, eyewear, fragrances, and
cosmetics. Currently, Burberry is among the most popular clothing labels
because of:
The Versace Collection
The reason Gianni Versace picked Medusa as
his logo is that once you fall in love with her, there's no turning back. He wished
the same for his business and the customers who bought his products.
Versace, one of the most luxurious apparel
labels, is among the best in the industry because of:
For the first time, both the women's and
men's collections were shown together on the runway.
•revealed plans to open a flagship location in
both the Paris and London areas.
Saint Laurent
Saint Laurent, a division of the Kering
Group, maintained its reputation as a bastion of cutting-edge style and modern
sophistication under Vaccarello's stewardship. Vaccarello was named creative
director of the label in April 2016. Because of these factors, YSL is among the
most costly labels:
Fendi
In 1925, Adele and Edoardo Fendi opened
their eponymous fashion brand in Rome, which has since become synonymous with
luxury and creativity. Karl Lagerfeld started working at Fendi in 1965 and
immediately elevated the label's aesthetic.
The LVMH organization purchased
Fendi in 2001 and has since provided funding for the luxury label's expansion
across the globe. The Italian luxury fashion house has been a byword for
quality, tradition, innovation, and creativity since joining LVMH.
Increasing social media mentions and
widespread use by celebrities have boosted the brand's popularity. For these
reasons, among others, we have ranked Fendi as one of the best fashion labels
available today.
Prada
Prada, which began as a modest leather
goods shop a century ago, has grown into one of the most recognized
brands in the industry. To achieve economic growth that benefits all, Prada has recently begun
integrating the unique aspects of its expertise with ideas based on the
betterment of people, the preservation of the environment, the upholding of
moral ideals, and the dissemination of cultural goods.
Today, Prada is led by the innovative design team of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, who manage to strike the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. In the years 2020 and 2021, Prada will continue to be one of the most often-worn fashion labels because of:
Gucci
Gucci was established in 1921 by Guccio
Gucci in the Tuscan city of Florence as a high-end fashion and leather products
label. Today, Gucci is redefining luxury for the twenty-first century under the
romantic and eclectic guidance of Alessandro Michele. In 2020 and 2021, Gucci
will be one of the most talked-about fashion labels because of its
status as an icon of Italian quality.
These collections feature some of the most coveted
items in the fashion industry, such as the 'Horsebit' loafers, the 'Dionysus'
purses, and the stunning hand-finished gowns. In addition, Gucci is the most
popular Italian luxury fashion house in the globe.
In the years 2020 and 2021, Gucci will continue
to be one of the most widely recognized fashion houses because of:
Nike
Nike, Inc., headquartered in Oregon, is an
American global firm that specializes in creating, researching, and
selling footwear, clothing, equipment, accessories, and services all over the
world.
Revenue, partnerships, and the company's
handling of COVID-19 partners and customers all support Nike's position among
the top fashion companies of 2021. The following factors have contributed to
Nike's rise to the forefront of the fashion industry:
